Sean woke up this morning and said, "where are those birds?". I've had the feeder up and even bought a plant that is supposed to attract them. So far, no birds. I spoke to my neighbor and he has them in his yard all day! I may have to bring Sean over, so he can finally see one.
Since Daddy was working late again last night, I gave him a Sean "recap". I told him that in the tub lately, Sean has been kicking out his leg and saying, "kick it". I told him that it's not nice to kick. While we were lying in bed last night to fall asleep, he said, "kick it, kick it'. I asked him where he heard that and he said at school. I then realized, that he has been saying "cricket"!! He has been moving his legs in the tub like the crickets. He proceeded to tell me that crickets live in the grass and have to watch out for "ant pilts", so they won't get bit. He's a smart little fella.
We went to the park this am and only stayed about 15 min. Sean moves so quickly from one thing to another. He got into some trouble when he pushed a little girl and then when he did it again, after he had already apologized, we left. He wasn't happy, but I told him, that if he pushes, he can't play. The pushing has started up again and I'm trying to figure out why. He has been doing so well. He did just lose our pet and his Uncle Danny and he had been the victim of pushing at school. So, I'm wondering if all of these factors have brought about the pushing again.
After his nap, we went to water "yellow" and Sean bent down and said, "let's see if it grows". I had to laugh to myself and told him that it should start growing, soon. Then, he sat down so sweetly on a lawn chair and looked at the bird feeder, but we didn't see any.
Maw Maw and Dukie are coming over tomorrow and are going to ride with us to see cousin Erin dance tomorrow night, so we went to get a car wash. Afterwards, Sean told me that it was fun! After dinner, we went back outside and played and still no birds. I'm going to try another feeding solution tomorrow and hope my baby gets to see his "honeybirds".
