painting intentlyI've never celebrated Earth Day before, so this year, I thought that Sean and I would do something special. Earth Day is tomorrow, but we did our painting for it today. I bought Sean a clay flower pot and some child friendly paints and let him at it. He painted for a few minutes and then, as I expected, he lost interest. At least, we got enough paint on the pot, though.
Tomorrow, we're going to plant a sunflower and pray that it grows, as I don't have a green thumb.
Sean opted out of a nap today, even though, I know he is exhausted. He keeps rubbing his eyes, but is fighting sleep. He has done this since he was a baby. So, I'm expecting an early bed time, but a very long rest of the day.
